Wave Spring Pusher Mechanical seal consists of a Single wave or Multi coiled wave spring whether it is spot welded or sinusoidal wave spring. It consists of primary sealing ring assembled with an ‘O’ ring and wave spring. The purpose of this is to force the seal ring faces across the face and keep it from leaking to the atmospheric side of the seal.

The dynamic ‘O’ ring is designed to move axially (be pushed) along the shaft or sleeve. If solids are abundant in the sealing fluid, they can build up on the ‘O’ ring and prevent this axial movement (hang up) thus surface underneath the dynamic ‘O’ ring must therefore be very smooth to allow for axial movement of Seal Ring.

Wave Spring Mechanical seal comes with open type and close type wave spring mechanical seal to the medium fluid. It can be made balanced or unbalanced depending upon stuffing box pressure. Contact and non-contact of Spring with medium fluid depending of nature of fluid viscosity.
